A native of Philadelphia, 27-year old Brandy Staton began promoting events and parties while attending high school.  Brandy fuses her knowledge of the nightlife and entertainment industries with her passion for event-planning to create high-profile events and unmatchable results.

Brandy Staton is a risk-taker, high energetic and optimistic individual which have all been incorporated into the way her businesses are operated.  Staton was one of the founders and designers of a successful clothing line called Babylon Cartel & Company.  Brandy Staton was responsible for building the brand, reaching out to local clothing boutiques, launching the website, recruiting models, and organizing photo shoots and fashion shows at various colleges.  From Babylon Cartel & Company, Staton promoted for up-and-coming singing sensation Dawn Chavous, and coordinated events surrounding the release of her CD “Life Without Limit.”

Additionally, in 2006, she brought DC-based rap artist Wale (one of Entertainment Weekly’s 8 People to Watch in 2008) to Philadelphia for a sold-out performance.  Guests at her events have included Freeway, Gillie Da Kid, Cassidy, the Philadelphia Eagles, E-Ness, The Dipset Girls, and many other local and national celebrities.

Brandy is also an accomplished DJ under the alias DJ BlacQ, having spun with popular DJs such as: DJ Qlassick, DJ Mont, DJ Styles, DJ Mofo, DJ Damage, and DJ R to the Rizza, to name a few.

Staton’s career really took off when she started attending Temple University.  While at Temple University, Staton’s first company, Brandy Staton the PR & Friends, was founded to take the college nightlife scene to new levels.
